Coming to BUF is different from playing in other places that my friends and I have already been to. Here we have another goal. In some other schools, the main goal is just volleyball [or sports] 24/7, which can be very exhausting when you’re an athlete and specifically a Christian, but you don’t have time to practice your faith. So, in other places that I’ve been to, that was never a priority, being a Christian, and I felt very tired - mentally tired, you know? Coming to BUF gave me exactly what I needed in terms of playing volleyball and keeping my focus on God. It just gave me the right match.
